D-Dawg's Kidszone
Now open at the Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort by Hilton is the D-Dawg's Kidzone, which is an area that has been created especially for chaperoned and unchaperoned kid activities that are sanctioned by the resort. Every day and some nights, there are enjoyable activities for children, which only makes this resort even more kid-friendly. There are two pools, a kids play area, and a workout facility.
There are 7 eating establishments that feature kids meals, and a huge, popular beach on which children enjoy playing.
The D-Dawg's Kidszone is over 1,000 square feet in size and has a view of the outside swimming pool that is located on the fifth floor of the North Tower. A full-time staff member is in charge of D-Dawg's and will supervise arts and crafts, ping-pong, the playing of Wii video games, the playing of board games, and storytelling. Some of the activities that take place outside include hula hoop contests, relay and alligator races, sand art, and face painting, which is done near the outside pools.
On Friday and Saturday nights, between the hours of 5:30 and 8:30 p.m., there is a pizza and craft party for children, while moms and dads head out for a night alone. There are also unchaperoned free-play sessions throughout the week, during which parents are encouraged to play with their kids. From noon until 8:00 p.m. any day of the week, kids between the ages of 5 and 12 can enjoy the activities offered by the brand new D-Dawg's Kidzone. Parents can feel good about leaving their kids there.
