Museum of Arts and Science: Planetarium, Art and Exhibits

See a vast assemblage of exhibits, artifacts and interactive educational exhibitions at the Museum of Arts and Science. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, this expansive facility features a number of fascinating attractions, including a state-of-the-art planetarium, restored railroad cars, antique automobiles, scientific exhibits, decorative arts and other vast permanent collections. It also plays host to laser rock concerts and a children's museum, where young visitors enjoy opportunities for fun, educational experiences.

General Admission: $12.95 for adults, $6.95 for children; Additional Planetarium Shows: $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children

  • Are there any child-friendly exhibits?

    Located within MOAS the Charles and Linda Williams Children's Museum is a 9,300-square-foot facility dedicated to young visitors. In addition to numerous interactive exhibits, the Children’s Museum houses a tennis ball launcher, a make-believe pizza parlor, video light microscope and a raceway where children can build their own vehicles.
  • When does the museum offer Laser Rock Concerts?

    The MOAS Planetarium offers three Laser Rock Concerts the second Sunday of every month. Show times are 7 p.m. for the first show, 8 p.m. for the second and 9 p.m. for the last. Tickets are $5.00 for one show, $7.00 for two shows or $9.00 for three shows. For a complete schedule of upcoming laser shows, visit www.moas.org/lasershows.html.
