Doc Bales' Chef Inspired Dinner Buffet

This Independence Day weekend, delight in a chef inspired dinner buffet at Doc Bales' Grill on July 4-5 from 5-10p.m. Indulge in fresh seafood, fried chicken, BBQ pork, and more savory and sweet selections. All weekend long, you can also enjoy a special breakfast buffet at Doc Bales' from 7-11a.m. Kick start your morning with omelets, oatmeal, freshly baked goods and hot coffee.

Summer Concerts at the Band Shell

In addition to the regularly scheduled Saturday night tribute concerts at the Daytona Beach Band Shell, the oceanfront venue will also host a special July 4th concert featuring Eagles tribute band, Alter Eagles. After the performance, make sure to catch the fireworks show!

Catch a Daytona Tortugas Game at The Jack

Celebrate the Fourth of July weekend in Daytona Beach with a minor league baseball game at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The Daytona Tortugas have home games all weekend long against the Lakeland Flying Tigers. Games on Friday, July 2 and Sunday, July 4 will include dazzling postgame fireworks displays to celebrate the holiday weekend. On July 4, the team will wear special uniforms in addition to special Independence Day celebrations taking place at the stadium. A night out with the family doesn't get much better than this.

Plan the Perfect Beach Day

A trip to Daytona Beach just isn't complete without some fun in the sun, sand, and surf! Rent boogie boards, paddleboards, chairs, and bicycles on the 12-mile, car-free stretch of picturesque beaches behind the resort. Or, pick up a surfboard and lessons at Vast Oceans Surf SUP School to test out the legendary surf and shimmering waters at the World's Most Famous Beach.

Pay a visit to the Smithsonian-affiliated Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS) and explore the state-of-the-art planetarium, vast permanent collections, fascinating seasonal exhibits, and the only hands-on science center between Jacksonville and Orlando - the Charles and Linda Williams Children's Museum.

Cast a Line from the Pier

Catch a keeper at the Daytona Beach Pier or Sunglow Pier. Florida residents and Children under 16 don't need a saltwater fishing license to fish from a pier; nonresidents over 16 may purchase an annual or temporary saltwater fishing license online. Rental fishing poles and bait are available for purchase at the Sunglow Pier.

Stroll Along the Boardwalk

Located directly behind our oceanfront resort, the Daytona Boardwalk is an American classic featuring gift shops, snack bars, restaurants, and a classic arcade. Enjoy hand-pulled taffy or grab a delicious slice of pizza and set the stage for family fun!

Zip Through the Trees

If you're looking for a thrill, Daytona Beach Zipline Adventure in Tuscawilla Park has you covered! Spend a fun-filled day climbing, swinging, and zipping from tree to tree. Located between the beach and the speedway, the adventure park features over 40 aerial games, including 10 adrenaline-pumping zip lines. All participants must be over 54 inches tall.

Paddle Away

Take in the captivating scenery along the paddling trail at one of Daytona Beach's historical landmarks, Tomoka State Park. Embark on an exciting canoeing or kayaking adventure just minutes away from our resort. This tour of the beautiful local waterways is a great way to exercise your muscles and rediscover inner peace.
