With 23 miles of white sands and waves just begging to be surfed, Daytona Beach is the ideal spot for lounging lizards and sunbathers of all ages. Of course, if you want to experience the area's beautiful coastline then there's no better way to do it then by bike. Renting a bike is easy. Bring the whole family out for an early morning ride to enjoy watching the sunrise, or wind down the day with an evening ride and watch the beautiful sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. Guests can get the first hour free when they rent their bikes from Hilton Daytona Beach. Ask our front desk to learn more.

Let Imaginations Soar at Children's Discovery Museum and Planetarium

The Charles and Linda Williams Children's Museum is an interactive science center and the only hands-on science museum in the surrounding area. Exhibits are regularly rotating and include everything from crime scene investigation and understanding the human body to making your own roller coaster and creating mini racecars. The planetarium also offers live star shows, full-dome immersive movies and weekly laser shows. Learn about science, space and more at the Museum of Arts & Sciences.

Slip and Slide at Daytona Lagoon Waterpark

Summers can certainly get warm in Florida, so why not cool off at the Daytona Lagoon Waterpark? With over 12 water rides including a 54-foot tall Kraken Revenge four-lane racing slide, multiple kiddie pools, wave pool and a lazy river, there are definitely many ways to beat the heat. Inside you'll also find a Mega Arcade, go-karts, mini golf, laser tag and an indoor ropes course. Daytona Lagoon is also conveniently located across the street from our hotel.

Discover What's Under the Sea at the Marine Science Center

Even though school's out for the summer Daytona Beach still offers engaging and educational experiences for children of all ages. At the Ponce Inlet you'll find the Marine Science Center, a great way for the whole family to discover Central Florida's unique wildlife. Touch hermit crabs and stingrays, and explore exhibits about whales and the mangrove, the area's ancient tropical tree.

Take a Delicious Tour of Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory

If your kids have a sweet tooth then no trip to Daytona Beach would be complete without visiting Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory, which has been producing quality chocolates and candies since 1925. The free 20-minute factory tour, which is stroller and wheelchair accessible, is offered every Monday through Saturday. You'll also enjoy free chocolate samples on the tour.
