While you're enjoying fireworks and grilled eats and sporting your red, white and blue, why not celebrate Independence Day with another great American pastime: NASCAR racing. If you're in Daytona Beach to celebrate our nation's anniversary, there's no better place to do this than at the Daytona International Speedway, "the World Center of Racing". This 4th of July weekend get tickets to the best seats in the house for one of the year's most anticipated stock car races. Watch as racecar drivers burn rubber, covering 400 miles and 160 laps to win the coveted NASCAR Cup Series title.

The 4th of July Weekend Schedule at Coke Zero Sugar 400 Race

Before packing the cooler and the kids and heading to Daytona Beach for the holiday weekend, you'll want to figure out what events you won't want to miss at the Daytona International Speedway. Here is the full lineup of daily activities leading up to the much-awaited Coke Zero Sugar 400,

THURSDAY, JULY 4th

12:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Midway is open

12:00 pm: Pitshop merchandise area open in Midway

1:05 pm - 1:55 pm; 3:05 pm - 3:55 pm: NASCAR Xfinity Series practice

2:05 pm - 2:55 pm; 4:05 pm - 4:55 pm: Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice

FRIDAY, JULY 5th

8:00 am - 12:00 pm:  NASCAR Racing Experience Ride-Along Program at DAYTONA

11:00 am: Midway and Pitshop merchandise area open

12:00 pm: Guided Garage Tour signup (limited number available)

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: NASCAR Xfinity Series Open Garage Tours

1:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Open Garage Tours

2:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Live band on main stage in UNOH Fanzone

2:40 pm: NASCAR XFINITY Series Qualifying

4:10 pm: Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Gatorade Qualifying

4:30 pm - 5:15 pm: Autograph Session: NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Access to Pre-Race Ceremonies (Pre-Race pass required)

7:00 pm: Circle K Firecracker 250 Powered by Coca-Cola driver introductions

7:30 pm: Circle K Firecracker 250 Powered by Coca-Cola (100 Laps, 250 Miles)

The NASCAR open garage offers fans the unique opportunity to see behind the scenes as the racecar legends prepare for the Circle K Firecracker 250 Powered by Coca-Cola. Head to the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) Fanzone/Pre-Race Access at the NASCAR tent under the FPL Solar Patio from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm to get a wristband.

There are a limited number of wristbands, which are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those guests with wristbands will be able to enter the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Open Garage from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm on Friday, July 5th. There will also be a NASCAR Xfinity Series Open Garage the same day from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

The NASCAR open garage is the best way to get an up-close and personal view of the drivers as they prepare for the big event. There are VIP autograph sessions throughout the day so don't forget to pack a pen. It's your chance to meet one of your favorite NASCAR drivers and have them sign your memorabilia.

SATURDAY, JULY 6th

8:00 am: NASCAR Racing Experience Ride-Along Program

2:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Live Band, Max Impact, on main stage

2:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Access to Pre-Race Ceremonies (Pre-Race pass required)

2:30 pm: Guided Garage Tour signup (limited number available)

3:15 pm - 6:15 pm: Guided Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Garage Tours (limited number available)

7:00 pm: 61st Annual Coke Zero Sugar 400 driver introductions

7:30 pm: 61st Annual Coke Zero Sugar 400 (160 laps, 400 miles)

10:00 pm: Fireworks (Time TBD post-race)

Have some excited kids in tow? Let them expend that excess pre-race energy at the racetrack's kids areas where they can climb rock walls, jump on trampolines, get their face painted and enjoy other family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Before the race, Warner Music Nashville recording artist Michael Ray will open with a pre-race concert. Fans who purchase the Michael Ray VIP package will enjoy the best seats in the house to watch the live performance and take part in a Q&A with Michael Ray in a Midway suite. Fans who've already purchased tickets to see the Coke Zero Sugar 400 can also upgrade their tickets to get the full Michael Ray VIP experience.

You may also want to stick around after the race, as Daytona International Speedway will light up the sky with the largest fireworks display in Southeast Florida. On your way out don't forget to snap a photo with the Coke Zero Sugar 300 trophy to commemorate your vacation.
