Beach wedding venue set up for a gorgeous ceremony

If you're planning a Daytona Beach wedding, then you've likely already discovered your guests are hoping for some fun ideas for pre- and post-wedding entertainment. Whether you're ironing out the details or it's more of a "plan your own adventure," here are itinerary options for your wedding guests:

1) See Florida's Tallest Lighthouse

Have your wedding guests climb high—175 feet to be exact—at Ponce Inlet Lighthouse for panoramic Atlantic Ocean views. Tour the museum to see the lighthouse keeper's historical living quarters, then explore the nearby Lighthouse Point Park's wild and coastal 52 acres. The area boasts scenic nature trails, a dog-friendly swimming beach and relaxing spots for lounging in the sand.

2) Walk Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier

Send your wedding party to Daytona's beloved boardwalk for quirky gift shops and fruity refreshments just steps from the popular Florida beach and our oceanfront hotel. Have everyone make a beeline for the Main Street Pier, and walk high above the rolling waves as you take in the deep-blue horizon. Insider's tip: You can fish from the pier's east end. Or, if you're feeling brave, take a wild ride at Daytona Beach Screamer's Park.

3) Charter A Private Boat Rental

Plan a day aboard a boat to explore Daytona Beach's aquamarine-colored coastline right from the water. You can fish together, snorkel together or clink celebratory glasses together — this is a fabulous way to bond with your best friends and family before or after your wedding. Go with a boat guide or go on your own. There are many boat rental and tour options to choose from, spanning yachts to sailboats.

4) Visit Daytona International Speedway

When the founding father of NASCAR Bill France Sr. realized the growing popularity of stock car racing meant it needed a permanent home, the idea of the Daytona International Speedway was born way back in 1953. Now, the World Center of Racing is the perfect place to take a tour of this truly unique Daytona Beach experience. Send your group together or suggest it for their "off" time. Tours have limited capacity, so reservations are a good idea.

5) Explore the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art

Gather your wedding guests to see the largest collection of Florida-themed fine art at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, a part of Daytona Beach's Museum of Arts & Sciences. Here, you can admire a rotating assemblage of oil and watercolor paintings all showcasing Florida themes like fishing, regional weather happenings and the verdant Everglades.
